Mr. David Sack, principal, holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The credential is held solely by CPAs who demonstrate the necessary knowledge and practice experience to qualify as specialists in business valuation. The Institute of Business Appraisers, the oldest business appraisal organization in the country, has also awarded Mr. Sack the prestigious Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) designation. The CBA certification is only awarded to applicants who pass a comprehensive examination and who have had two formal valuation reports approved by a peer review committee. The reports must demonstrate excellent application of appraisal theory and strict adherence to appraisal and ethical standards.

To keep abreast with the latest appraisal knowledge, Mr. Sack regularly attends conferences and reads the most current business valuation journals. He has completed over 200 hours of appraisal education through the leading Business Valuation organizations in addition to graduate level coursework in microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, finance, and accounting.

He has performed Certified Appraisal Reports for a wide range of businesses, professional practices, and partnership interests, located both in and outside of California, with annual revenues from less than $100,000 to over $150 million.

Mr. Sack frequently teaches a business valuation class for lawyers and CPAs. The class is approved for professional education credit.
