Summary
Reports
A summary report contains significantly less information
than a formal report, although the same work is performed in the development
of the value conclusion. The narrative is predominantly limited to an explanation
of the financial schedules, while various other sections of the report are extremely
brief or may be excluded altogether. The value is expressed as a single dollar
amount. Summary reports can be particularly useful for business owners whose
valuation purposes don't require much information on the industry or the company.
